Condominium 4202

As soon as you arrive at the grand arch that is the entrance to Las Mañanitas Complex, a tower faces the Ocean and shows its back to a small, wind-swept fountain. In the second floor of this wonderful place, this unit waits your arrival.

Upon opening the door, white walls and ample spaces fill your eyes. To the right, the kitchen, fully equipped and ready to be used, marvels the senses. Clear cherry woods make up for the cabinets and drawers, while the sand colored granite in the countertops merges into the mix. Silvery chromes show in the many appliances that spread in this cozy, homely kitchen. The low ceiling has been carved by the blades of the ceiling fan, creating a nest for this air supply. Two intricate iron bar stools sit idle in the outside of the breakfast bar, with seats covered in tanned leather. To the left, a closet of sorts is embedded to the walls.

The Diner is quite simple and unique. The Rattan in the four chairs, intertwined with the dark color of the wooden legs and the iron table base and marble top, seems otherworldly.  This Mexican wood-weaving technique, the Rattan, cover the chairs front and back, adding to the surrealism of this diner. The rest, is wide open space.

The living room, which spreads just beyond the diner, basks clearly in the Sun. the moss-like rug that cradles the coffee table and lends rest to the couches is in perfect antagony with the brown and orange tones of the furniture. The table a dark shade of antique wood, shining with oily finishes, matches the dark leather of one of the love seats. The other one, in orange suede, matches the rounded single couch in a rather light shade of brown. They all face an ancient entertainment Centre, with wooden pillars holding the strong architecture, and ribbons of wood in the corners.   The light shades in the curtains hold a beautiful pattern, and the green agave painted inside the wooden frame lends life to this room.

The Master room holds, in its very center, a King Size bed dressed in white linens, with colorful, green palm leafs embroidered into the fabric in the Traditional Mexican style. The grand, wooden headrest matches the fitments in the Living Room, with its antique attire and shinning polish. Nightstands on both sides hold lamps, one like a candle stick, one like a bottle, while a bone colored, suede lounge chair waits in the corner. The intricate patterns in the woodworks of the drawer set which holds the TV seem to hypnotize the attending observer. Aside from a gentle frame with colorful paintings, not much else decorates the walls.
The master bathroom is somewhat unique. Marble tiles cover most of the room, waist high, and enclose the bathtub and shower in a wonderful array of browns. The shower, shielded by tempered glass, fits comfortably in one end, while a wheel of steel, reminiscing of the Sun, orbits above the tub. The clear countertops in the sink area, facing a large mirror, match the color of the walls. The clear wooded closet sits patiently behind them.

In the second bedroom, two double beds are separated by a single nightstand in light colored wood, holding a lamp of wonderful shapes. The large wooden headrests are carefully crowned with an iron tiara, and a single, round-backed couch sits calmly in the corner. A few frames decorate the walls, while a large drawer set in light woods is encased in a dent of the wall. The second bathroom consists of a single sink in marble ovaline and countertop, with a comfortable shower to the left, carefully guarded by a glass shield.

A fully equipped laundry room, with pool towels and extra linens, is at your service.

Outside, upon reaching the deck from any of the rooms in this home, a world of possibilities opens and unfolds in front of your eyes. From the Master, two lounge chairs are guarded by a tall clay vase and overlooking the pools and green areas. From the second bedroom, two chairs and a coffee table share in the view of the mini golf course and hammocks. But from the Living room, it all changes. A small, four-piece diner sits underneath the cement roof. Beyond, a large sundeck, shielded from the scorching sun by a wooden palapa overlooks, in a rather majestic manner, all of the grounds and pool areas. From here, the greens clash with the blues in a way few can witness from anywhere else, and the skies dress in cocktail attire every sunset and sunrise, making it seem as if they dress solely for you.
